Rows of cubicles stretched out before him, each a small, self-contained world humming with its own quiet industry. His domain. He was Chris Dozier, a name whispered only in the deepest recesses of his memory, a phantom limb. Here, he was Marcus Thorne, Logistics Manager, a man who wore tailored shirts and spoke in a measured, confident tone.
