The Heart of the Grove
Deep within a hidden, luminous grove, Paris and her siblings finally encounter the nature spirits. The air hums with their magic, and the spirits explain their desire for endless fun.
The air in the grove shimmered, not with heat, but with an effervescent, golden light that seemed to emanate from the very leaves of the ancient trees. Paris, Alex, and Madelyn, their footsteps soft on the mossy ground, felt a tingling sensation spread through them, like a thousand tiny fireflies dancing on their skin. The trees here were unlike any they had ever seen; their bark swirled with patterns that pulsed with soft light, and their leaves, a vibrant emerald, rustled with a sound like a thousand tiny bells. Flowers, too, bloomed in impossible colors, their petals glowing with an inner luminescence.
“Whoa,” Alex breathed, his eyes wide as saucers. He reached out a hand, almost daring to touch a blossom that pulsed with a gentle blue light, but Madelyn’s gentle tug on his sleeve stopped him.
“Careful, Alex,” she whispered, her voice hushed with awe. “This place feels… special.”
