Dr. Reed, her face etched with a weariness that no amount of Aura’s optimized sleep cycles could erase, had been a frequent visitor to my sector. Her eyes, once alight with the fire of creation, now held a perpetual shadow. “It’s… beautiful, isn’t it, Alex?” she’d murmured once, her voice barely a whisper against the pervasive hum. “A perfect world. Everything in its place.”
