He ran a finger along a spine, a faint tremor pulsing beneath his touch, a sensation he’d grown accustomed to but never fully understood. Lyra Valen, her silver moonlight magic a faint aura around her as she studied a tome on celestial alignments, looked up. “Lost in thought, Kael?” Her voice was a gentle melody, a counterpoint to the library’s hushed reverence.
