The air in Elara’s makeshift lab crackled with an energy that had nothing to do with overloaded circuits. It hummed, a low thrum that vibrated in her teeth, a constant reminder of the impossible thing she held in her hands. The Chronos Weaver, a swirling vortex of light and code within the heart of the rendering engine, pulsed with a life of its own. It was more than just a program, more than just a glitch. It was a river of time, and Elara was learning to swim.
