Chapter 5
Elijah's Elemental Awakening
During a moment of peril, Elijah's elemental magic surges, uncontrolled but powerful. He grapples with his growing abilities, fearing they might be the very danger the prophecy foretells.

A sudden, sharp cry from Rabbiyah ripped through the cavern. A tremor, more violent than any before, shook the very foundations of the earth. Loose stones rained down from the cavern ceiling, and the faint glow of the phosphorescent moss flickered erratically. Elijah’s head snapped up, his heart leaping into his throat. Rabbiyah stumbled, her hand flying to her ankle, a pained gasp escaping her lips.
