Episode 20
Ed went to see Galen to collect layia's sword and asked him for another favour, armor for Layia with the sun in gold on the breast plate, they prepared to set off, saying their goodbyes, Jason asks to join them as he feels he belongs on the journey.
The morning sun climbed higher as Ed walked toward Galen's forge. The clang of hammer on metal rang through the air, steady and strong. Inside, Galen stood at his anvil, sparks flying like tiny golden fireflies. When he saw Ed, he set down his hammer and wiped his brow.
"Ah, Ed. Right on time." Galen reached behind his workbench and lifted a sword wrapped in soft leather. He laid it on the table and unwrapped it carefully.
The blade caught the light. It was not too long, not too heavy, with a handle wrapped in dark leather that would fit a child's grip perfectly. Near the hilt, a small sun was etched into the steel, gleaming gold.
