The flickering neon of the 'Nebula Nook' cast lurid shadows across the grimy durasteel tables. It was less a cantina and more a cosmic crossroads for the galaxy’s less reputable elements, a place where secrets were traded as readily as fermented Glarblaxian grog. Mia, disguised in a drab grey jumpsuit that did little to hide her inherent sharpness, nursed a glass of something that smelled suspiciously like burnt rubber and regret. Beside her, Marcus, sporting an ill-fitting, oversized coat that bulged in all the wrong places, feigned intense interest in a smear of questionable goo on his own glass.

“Anything, Marcus?” Mia murmured, her voice barely a whisper above the cacophony of alien chatter and the distant, mournful wail of a three-headed space-bard.

Marcus peered over the rim of his glass, his eyes wide with feigned nonchalance. “Just admiring the… local décor. Really brings out the existential dread, doesn’t it?” He nudged Mia with his elbow. “Heard a K’tharr dealer bragging about a ‘sparkling trinket from Sector 7G’ earlier. Said it was ‘outta this world.’ Thought that might be our guy.”
