Chapter 5
Whispers from the Bookstore
Alex revisits Ms. Gable, the eccentric bookstore owner, seeking answers about the map. Ms. Gable offers cryptic advice, hinting that the map is more than it seems, nudging Alex towards a deeper understanding.

And a public fountain that seemed to be actively plotting against my shoes.” Alex clutched the worn, unlabeled map, its edges softened by countless anxious folds. “This map… it’s supposed to lead me somewhere, isn’t it? Somewhere important. Not just to… pigeon territory.”
