Elara walked back into the village, the soft glow of his inner starlight now a gentle, comforting presence. It no longer felt like a cascade of disorienting brilliance, but a warm, steady hum beneath his skin, a quiet melody only he could hear. The confusion that had clouded his mornings had receded, replaced by a sense of clarity, a knowing that this wondrous inner light was not a burden, but a gift. The air itself seemed to shimmer around him, not with the chaotic sparkle of his earlier awakening, but with a settled, iridescent sheen.

Lyra was tending to the communal herb garden, her brow furrowed in concentration as she coaxed a stubborn vine to climb its trellis. She looked up as Elara approached, a smile softening her features, though a flicker of bewilderment still danced in her eyes. "Elara! You're back. Old Man Hemlock kept you long enough for the moon to rise, almost."

Elara chuckled, the sound light and airy. "He had much to share, Lyra. And I… I think I understand now." He gestured vaguely towards his chest, where the starlight pulsed with newfound purpose.
