Before her, the Weaver of Whispers coalesced, its form less a being of shadow and more a tapestry of frayed, silver threads, each one vibrating with a desperate, discordant hum. It was the sound of a story unraveling, a story it had desperately tried to keep Elara from hearing.

“You return,” the Weaver’s voice echoed, a chorus of rustling leaves and distant chimes. “To this place of forgotten things. But you come with a new kind of blindness, child. The blindness of acceptance.”

Elara took a step forward, her bare feet making no sound on the glassy surface. She felt no fear, only a profound, quiet sorrow. The terror that had once gripped her at the Weaver’s appearance had long since dissolved, replaced by a weary understanding. It was Silas, in his quiet, knowing way, who had helped her see. He had spoken of the bloom not as a cure, but as a key, and of her dreams not as a prison, but as a map.
