The Weaver's manipulations become more overt. Elara realizes the entity feeds on her suppressed memories and fears, actively working to keep her trapped in a cycle of enchanted sleep.

The air in the dreamscape shimmered, thick and syrupy, like honey poured into moonlight. Elara drifted, a lone boat on a tide of shifting colors. The last vestiges of the waking world, the worried lines on her mother’s face, the faint scent of lavender from her pillow, had long since dissolved. Here, in the land of the Bloom, only the dream held sway. And the Weaver.

“Such a restful sleep, child,” a voice like rustling silk whispered, appearing from nowhere and everywhere at once. The Weaver of Whispers. It coalesced before her, a being spun from moonlight and shadow, its form fluid, its eyes like chips of obsidian reflecting a thousand tiny stars. “You are so much calmer now. So peaceful.”

Elara, or rather, the dream-version of Elara, felt a strange lethargy settle over her. It was a pleasant feeling, a warm blanket of oblivion. The Weaver’s words were like a lullaby, soothing the raw edges of her insomnia. But beneath the calm, a flicker of unease stirred. She remembered Silas’s warning, his hesitant words about the flower’s grip, about dreams that could become prisons.
