Pip reveals their skill with hidden passages, skillfully guiding them through a section of the ruins previously thought impassable, surprising Elara and Eldrin.

The air in the ancient ruins was thick with the dust of forgotten ages, a fine powder that settled on everything, clinging to Elara's cloak and misting the edges of her vision. They had been searching for hours, Master Eldrin consulting his brittle scrolls and Elara tracing the moss-covered carvings on the crumbling walls, a familiar knot of unease tightening in her stomach. The map Eldrin possessed, a tapestry of faded inks and cryptic symbols, indicated a passage ahead, a direct route to the central chamber. But before them stood a sheer, unbroken expanse of stone, as if the very mountain had solidified into an impenetrable barrier.

"It is here, according to the glyphs," Master Eldrin murmured, his voice raspy with disuse and the dry air. He tapped a gnarled finger against a particularly faded section of the parchment. "A doorway, concealed by illusion and the passage of millennia. But where, oh where, is the mechanism?"

Elara sighed, leaning against the cool, rough stone. Her hands, usually dusted with flour and deft with dough, felt clumsy and useless here, amidst such ancient mysteries. She had expected the journey to be difficult, filled with shadows and the chilling presence of the Chronos Shadow, but this silent, unyielding wall felt like a mockery of their efforts. "Perhaps the map is wrong, Master Eldrin," she said, her voice softer than she intended. "Or perhaps it was never a doorway at all."
