“We cannot linger, Elara,” Master Eldrin’s voice was a low murmur, his eyes, usually twinkling with gentle amusement, were now sharp with a focused intensity. He stood by the door, his worn cloak drawn tight, a stark silhouette against the twilight sky. “The Chronos Shadow will know you have it. They will be swift.”
