Before her, the artifact pulsed with a soft, internal light, its intricate carvings shifting and weaving like threads of starlight. Master Eldrin stood beside her, his weathered face etched with a mixture of awe and profound sorrow. Pip, ever vigilant, was a silent sentinel a few paces away, their keen eyes scanning the shadowy periphery. The Chronos Shadow had retreated, for now, its chilling presence a phantom threat that clung to the edges of their awareness.
“It is here, Elara,” Master Eldrin’s voice was a low murmur, barely disturbing the charged silence. “The nexus. The heart of the Chronos Stone.”
