A Game of Feather Fun

The afternoon sun streamed through the windows, painting golden stripes across the rug in my living room. Luna was showing me her favorite picture book, her finger tracing the adventures of a brave knight, when suddenly, a soft thump echoed from the hallway. Then another. My ears perked up. Luna looked over, a little frown creasing her brow.

“Snowy? Starry?” she called out, her voice a little worried.

I stood up, my heart giving a little flutter of excitement. “What was that?” I whispered, a grin starting to spread across my face. I loved the idea of a little mystery, especially when it involved Luna’s adorable fluffy companions.
