Lin and Feng, still reeling from the peacock’s admittedly cryptic but undeniably accurate vision, found themselves standing at the edge of a kingdom that seemed to have been dipped in a vat of lukewarm chamomile tea. The air itself felt soft, like a cloud made of cotton candy, and the silence wasn’t so much peaceful as it was… *stifling*. Every flower seemed to politely nod its head, every blade of grass bowed in greeting, and even the clouds drifted with an almost apologetic slowness.

“This is… weird,” Feng murmured, her voice a mere whisper, as if afraid to disturb the pervasive tranquility. The usual vibrant hues of their fairy tale kingdom were muted here, replaced by pastel shades of lavender, rose, and a pale, almost apologetic, yellow.

Lin, however, was already vibrating with an impatience that felt as out of place as a dragon in a tea party. “Weird? Feng, this is *agonizing*. Where’s the shouting? Where’s the dramatic sighing? Where’s the general cacophony of life?” She huffed, a puff of air that seemed to cause a nearby daisy to tremble. “We’re supposed to be looking for Sheng. How are we supposed to find her in a place where the loudest sound is a polite cough?”
