Tales for Bartholomew
Barnaby and Pip decide to visit Bartholomew the badger. They bring him a glowing flower, sharing their discovery and the joy it brought. Bartholomew, touched by their kindness, grumbles a little less.
Barnaby nudged Pip with his wet nose, his tail giving a tentative thump-thump against the soft moss. "Pip," he began, his big green eyes reflecting the gentle, pulsing light of the flowers that now dotted their forest, "I was thinking."
Pip, who had been chasing a sunbeam that danced between the glowing petals, skittered to a halt, her ears perked. "Thinking, Barnaby? That sounds serious. Are we talking about chasing squirrels or solving the mystery of where all the best socks disappear to?"
Barnaby chuckled, a warm, rumbling sound. "Not quite. I was thinking about Bartholomew. The badger."
