One will ascend, and one will… well, the choice, as always, is yours.” A collective gasp rippled through the spectators. The Gauntlet of Truth. No one knew what it truly entailed, only that it was the ultimate test of character and skill.

Beside her, Master Silas offered a subtle nod, his weathered face a mask of stoic encouragement. He had been her anchor, the steady hand that guided her through the treacherous currents of the games, even as his cryptic warnings about the true nature of their world echoed in her mind. He knew.
