She had come to Mama Nomusa, as she always did when life’s currents felt too turbulent to navigate alone.

Zandile took a slow sip of the tea, the warmth spreading through her, a small anchor in the sea of her confusion. It’s… us.” She hesitated, searching for the right words to articulate the unease that had taken root in her heart.
