The Entity's Grasp
The shadow entity's attacks become more direct and personal. It seems to feed on Bianca's fear and confusion, attempting to break her spirit and sever her connection with the prince and her newfound allies.
The air in the Lumina palace grew heavy, thick with an unspoken dread that clung to Bianca like a shroud. The radiant white walls, once symbols of sanctuary, now seemed to press in, mirroring the suffocating fear that had begun to coil in her gut. The Shadow Entity, a name whispered in hushed tones by the Luminians, was no longer a distant threat, a nameless terror lurking in the periphery. It was here, within the very heart of their supposed safety, its tendrils reaching out, probing, seeking to ensnare her.
The prince, his luminous eyes etched with a worry that mirrored her own, stood beside her, his hand a reassuring weight on her arm. Yet, even his presence, usually a beacon of calm, couldn't entirely dispel the encroaching darkness. "It senses your presence, Bianca," he murmured, his voice a low rumble that vibrated through her. "It is drawn to the unique light within you, a light it seeks to extinguish."
Bianca swallowed, her throat dry. "But why me? Why am I its target?" She looked around the grand hall, where Luminians moved with their customary grace, their white robes shimmering. They seemed so serene, so untouchable. How could this… thing… even reach them?
