Chapter 11
A Mother's Recognition
The prince reveals a startling truth: he is Bianca's son from a future timeline. The revelation is overwhelming, blurring the lines between past, present, and future, and hinting at a complex destiny for Bianca.
The air in the throne room of Lumina shimmered with an unspoken tension, a palpable weight that pressed down on Bianca’s chest. The prince, whose name she’d learned was Lyra, stood before her, his gaze – those unnervingly familiar, deep sapphire eyes – fixed on her with an intensity that sent a tremor through her. He had just spoken words that defied logic, words that spun her world into a dizzying kaleidoscope of impossible truths.
“You… you are my mother?” The question, barely a whisper, escaped Bianca’s lips, tasting foreign and unreal. Her classmates, huddled near the grand archway, exchanged bewildered glances, their faces a mixture of fear and confusion. They had been through so much, seen things that belonged in nightmares, but this… this was a different kind of terror, a personal, existential dread.
Lyra inclined his head, a subtle, sorrowful gesture. “From a time yet to come, Bianca. A future where our paths have already intertwined, where my existence is a testament to your strength, your love.” His voice, usually a soothing balm, now carried a melancholic resonance that echoed the turmoil churning within her. He spoke of a life she hadn't lived, a child she hadn't conceived, a destiny she couldn't comprehend.
