Eve plans the battle with Adam, identifying the Valley of Whispers as the likely Gathering site. Kael speaks to Adam about the true meaning of love and sacrifice. The family bonds through sparring and connection, then Eve leads Adam to the sacred grove to teach him the ancient art of grounding his soul against a battlefield's memory.
Eve waited for Adam in the study, the morning sun casting long shadows across the polished floor. He found her standing before a large map of the wizard world, its edges curling with age, tiny markers of crystal and ink dotting the parchment.
“Close the door,” she said without turning.
Adam obeyed, the latch clicking softly. Ally had stayed in the dining hall with Kael and Lily, the breakfast dishes cleared, a quiet hum of conversation drifting through the walls.
