Adam proposes to Ally in the garden, and she accepts. Archangel Gabriel delivers a golden-white robe that protects, heals, and sustains magic, turning invisible at will. The family prepares for the Gathering in two days.
Morning light spilled through the tall windows of the Cronwell estate, casting golden rectangles across the corridor floor. The family stood in a loose circle, the scroll still crackling in Adam’s grip. He let out a slow breath, the whisper of the Silent One brushing against his mind-shield like a curious breeze. He held it firm, and the presence withdrew.
Eve broke the silence first. “We have two days. Today, we rest. Tomorrow, we prepare. The Epoch Room gave us strength, but even steel needs tempering with calm.”
Kael nodded, placing a hand on Adam’s shoulder. “She’s right. You’ve trained a year in an hour. Let your body and soul catch up.”
