The Elemental Prince
At dawn, Eve reveals Adam is an elemental wizard like herself and begins training him to draw energy from the five elements. With help from Kael, Adam successfully weaves basic creation spells. The stakes rise when a rift opens and a servant of the Silent One delivers a scroll: an invitation to the Gathering of Princes in one week—alone. The family has one week to prepare.
Eve's words hung in the air like the last note of a bell. The family sat in silence, the crackling fire the only sound. Adam’s gaze drifted to his hands, where the faint glow of origin magic still lingered. He clenched them into fists, then released. The first light of dawn painted the windows gold.
Eve straightened. “We begin now. Adam, come with me. Kael, bring your strength—we will need it.”
They moved through the manor to a wide courtyard behind the estate. The grass was wet with dew, and a circle of standing stones stood at its center. The stones were worn, covered in ancient runes that caught the morning light.
