Elara blinked, the words of Elder Rowan echoing in the quiet clearing, a place that felt both ancient and utterly new. "A descendant? Of the garden's guardians?" The thought was as bewildering as the sudden bloom of the luminous flower, as strange as Lumina’s whispered words. She looked at her hands, once stained with soil and pollen, now trembling slightly. Could it be true? Her quiet life, her solitary passion for plants, her deep, almost instinctive understanding of the wilting and the thriving – was it all a prelude to this?

Elder Rowan’s gaze, steady and profound, met hers. His presence here, in this hidden heart of the forest, felt like a confirmation. "The blood of the Verdant Keepers flows in your veins, Elara. It is why the garden chose you, why the Lumina Blossom responded to your touch, and why Lumina herself recognized your spirit." He gestured to the rabbit, who sat calmly beside Elara, her white fur almost glowing in the dappled sunlight. Lumina nudged Elara’s hand with her nose, a gesture of comfort that felt surprisingly solid.

"But... I've never known anything about this," Elara stammered, her voice barely a whisper. "My life has been so simple. Just my plants, my books, and Lumina."
