The air in the hidden grove hummed with a forgotten energy, thick and sweet like overripe fruit. Elara, her heart still thrumming a frantic rhythm against her ribs, clutched Lumina closer, the rabbit’s soft fur a grounding comfort. Elder Rowan stood before them, his ancient eyes, the colour of moss and twilight, fixed on the luminous flower that pulsed with an otherworldly light at the grove's center. Its petals, like spun moonlight, unfurled and retracted in a silent, mesmerizing dance.

"You see now, child," Elder Rowan’s voice was a low rumble, like stones shifting in the earth, "the true nature of the bloom."

Elara nodded, her gaze never leaving the flower. It was more than just beautiful; it was alive in a way she’d never witnessed, radiating a warmth that seeped into her bones. "It's… magnificent. But Elder Rowan, why does it make me feel so… potent?"
