  After having moved back to the USA from Izmir, Turkiye My adopted family was Stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado and We lived in Colorado Springs until they were transfered again. I was a loner who saw things most people didn't understand. One day I wandered off quite a ways from the house down a vast sandy field with tumble weeds , cactus,yucca ,lots of vast emptiness with scattered flowers amongst patches of grass. The field was surrounded by fencing and barbed wire.
