The time Rex had some sort of episode at home and He actually started to leave His body and I shook Him awake and kept telling Him to knock it off and get back in His body..it worked,then I told Him to never do that again

It was one of those nights where the air in our home felt thick, heavy, like a blanket woven from unspoken anxieties. Rex, my husband, had been restless, his sleep punctuated by murmurs and a troubled stillness that made my own heart quicken. I was already awake, a familiar prickle of unease tracing its way up my spine, when I felt it – a subtle shift in the room, a dimming of the ordinary. I turned my head, and what I saw stole the breath from my lungs.

Rex was lying there, but… not entirely. His form seemed to shimmer, to thin, as if the very essence of him was starting to detach, to drift away. His eyes were open, but vacant, fixed on some unseen horizon. A profound stillness emanated from him, a terrifying stillness that spoke of absence, of a departure already in progress. My mind, honed by years of witnessing the inexplicable in hospital halls, snapped into a frantic, protective mode.

“Rex!” I cried out, my voice a raw, desperate sound in the quiet room. “Rex, no! Get back here!”
