Williyar stood on the inventor's doorstep, a knot of anxiety twisting in his stomach tighter than any of his previous wing-related tangles. The door, painted a cheerful, if slightly peeling, shade of sunflower yellow, creaked open before he could even muster the courage to knock. There stood the inventor, a whirlwind of mismatched socks, smudged spectacles, and a grin so wide it threatened to split his face. He wore a lab coat adorned with what looked suspiciously like a collection of colorful bottle caps.

"Ah, Williyar, my boy!" the inventor exclaimed, his voice a gravelly rumble that seemed to vibrate with suppressed excitement. "Come in, come in! The very air in here hums with potential, don't you think?"

Williyar stepped inside, the scent of ozone, burnt sugar, and something vaguely floral filling his nostrils. The workshop was a glorious, chaotic symphony of gears, wires, bubbling beakers, and half-finished contraptions that defied easy categorization. A unicycle with a built-in umbrella perched precariously on a stack of books, and a mechanical bird, its feathers made of intricately folded paper, chirped a tinny, off-key tune from a shelf.
