Stella was a tiny, twinkling star who lived on the edge of the Milky Way. Every night, she gazed at the bright lights around her and wondered about the sparkling family of planets nearby. "What makes the solar system so special?" she asked herself, her points glowing with curiosity.

One evening, as she spun in her spot, a cheerful comet named Cosmo zipped by, trailing a tail of shimmering dust. "Hi, Stella!" called Cosmo with a giggle. "Want to go exploring? I’ve heard the planets are having a dance around the Sun!"

Stella bounced with excitement. "Oh, yes! I’ve always wanted to see the planets up close. Maybe they’ll let us join their dance!"

Together, Stella and Cosmo zipped through the dark, cool space until they saw a huge, shining ball ahead. It was the Sun, bigger and brighter than anything Stella had ever seen. Sunbeams stretched out, warming the planets who circled around like children in a game. The Sun noticed Stella and Cosmo coming closer and smiled a big, golden smile.

"Welcome, little visitors!" said the Sun in a gentle, booming voice. "Are you here to see my solar system?"

Stella nodded, feeling a bit shy. "Yes, please! I want to know what makes your family so special."

The Sun beamed even brighter. "We’re all different here. Each planet has its own story. Would you like to meet them one by one?"

Cosmo spun in a loop, his tail catching the sunlight. "Can we start with the nearest planet? I’ve heard it’s fast and fiery!"

The Sun laughed a warm, rumbling laugh. "That would be Mercury! He’s closest to me and likes to race around in tight circles. But you’ll have to catch him—he’s quick!"

Stella’s points twinkled with excitement. She had never met a planet before, and now she would meet them all. "Do you think the planets will like us?" she whispered to Cosmo, suddenly worried.

Cosmo winked, his icy surface sparkling. "Of course! Planets love visitors. And who could resist a curious star and a friendly comet?"

Stella felt better. She and Cosmo drifted closer to Mercury, who zipped around the Sun like a shiny button on a string. Mercury noticed them and waved a crater-spotted hand.

"Hello there!" Mercury called. "Want to race?"

Stella giggled. "Maybe! But first, can you tell me what it’s like being so close to the Sun?"

Mercury grinned. "It’s toasty! I’m the hottest in the daytime, but at night, I cool off quickly. I have mountains, craters, and speedy days."

Stella listened carefully, her question growing larger. Each planet was different—what else would she learn?

Cosmo tugged her gently. "Come on, Stella! There are more friends to meet."

As they left Mercury spinning through the sunlight, Stella's curiosity bubbled brighter than ever. Who would they meet next—shy Venus, blue Earth, or daring Mars? The solar system was just beginning to share its secrets, and Stella couldn't wait for her next surprise.
