The world outside Zoid’s apartment was a canvas of muted grays and the soft, persistent hum of a city waking up. Sunlight, still shy, painted hesitant streaks across the windowpane, catching the dust motes dancing in the air. Zoid, wrapped in the familiar comfort of an impossibly large black t-shirt that swallowed them whole, traced the condensation on a nearly empty mug of lukewarm coffee. It was a pull, undeniable and growing, that had Zoid questioning everything they thought they knew about themselves and their desires.

Casual intimacy had always been Zoid's comfort zone, a playground where connection was fleeting and vulnerability was a luxury they rarely afforded. But Luke… Luke felt different. He felt like a territory Zoid longed to explore, not just with their body, but with their mind, their heart. Yet, the fear, that insidious whisper of self-doubt, coiled in their gut. What if he saw them, truly saw them, and found them wanting? What if the oversized tees and the blue-streaked hair were too much of a departure from the perfect picture he might have in his mind?
