Aria is captured by guards but rescued by Min-hyuk, who fakes a public argument to divert suspicion. They hide in the observatory, where Min-hyuk reveals more about his father's conspiracy and shares a tender moment with Aria, setting up a romantic tension. The chapter ends with them discovering they are being tracked.
The voice that said "Don't move" was not cold or commanding. It was breathless, almost desperate. Aria froze, her hand still on her knife, and turned her head slowly.
Kang Min-hyuk stood there, his uniform torn, a thin cut on his cheek. He was alone.
"You're bleeding," she said, the words slipping out before she could stop them.
