The morning after the first meetup, I woke to a pale Vilnius sky and the lingering warmth of something I hadn't felt in a long time: belonging. My phone buzzed on the nightstand. Laura's message: "Any ideas for the next meetup? I think we're onto something bigger than we know."
I smiled, typing back, "Let me think. Coffee today?"
She replied with a thumbs-up and a coffee emoji. We agreed to meet at the same café where the meetup had taken place, as if returning to the scene of a successful experiment.
