Danguole meets Laura in the hotel lobby, where Laura proposes a collaborative project to build a real-world community for digital idealists. I checked my phone. Seven forty-five. I had fifteen minutes before meeting Laura in the lobby. The café conversation with Rasa still echoed in my mind, a warm hum of connection that made the hotel corridor feel less sterile. I took a deep breath and headed for the elevator.
Laura was already there, sitting in one of the oversized armchairs near the reception desk. She was scrolling through her phone, but looked up as I approached. Her smile was wide, expectant.
"So," she said, standing up. "How was your meeting?"
