As they place the object on a central crystal, it unleashes a breathtaking display of light and soft, melodic sounds, filling the cave.
The air in the Crystal Cave hummed, not with the low thrum of the earth, but with a new, delicate vibration that seemed to emanate from the very walls. It tickled my whiskers, a feeling I’d never experienced before. Mama held my paw, her touch soft and reassuring, but I could feel her own wonder radiating through her fur. Deividas, usually so quiet and tucked away in his own thoughts, was practically vibrating with anticipation, his small, dark eyes wide and fixed on the shiny object nestled in my paws.
We had followed the last faint hum, a sound like a whispered lullaby, to this hidden chamber. Sunlight, filtered through unseen cracks far above, fractured into a thousand dancing rainbows on the countless crystals that lined the cave. It was a place of silent, shimmering beauty, a cathedral built by time and earth. And in the center of it all, on a raised platform of smooth, milky quartz, was a single, perfectly formed crystal, larger than any we had seen. It pulsed with a soft, inner light, a gentle invitation.
“This is it, Pudlius,” Mama whispered, her voice barely disturbing the profound quiet. “The place the old stories spoke of. Where the lost things find their purpose.”
