The Cryo Chamber
Jaxson and Rossi trace the mysterious signal to an abandoned warehouse, where they discover a hidden Pyre Corp laboratory. Inside, they find a cryo-chamber containing Rossi's long-lost brother Marco, still alive after years in suspended animation. As they free him, they learn of a larger network of experiments and a new threat rising from the Overlord's shadow.
The morning light spilled over San Francisco like honey, golden and warm, but Jaxson felt none of its comfort. He stood beside Detective Rossi on a rooftop overlooking the city, his phone still glowing with the cryptic message: "The Phoenix rises. New dawn. New threat. Watch the shadows."
Rossi studied the encrypted signal on her own device, her brow furrowed. "It's bouncing off three relay towers, but I've triangulated the source. It's coming from an old industrial district near the docks."
"Could be a trap," Jaxson said, his voice flat. He touched the locket beneath his shirt—his grandmother's locket, now a talisman of hope and memory.
