Chapter 11

The morning after discovering her grandmother's love letters, Skye finishes her painting while Dale watches. A hidden note in the chest reveals the brass key opens a garden gate at a seaside cottage. The chapter ends with them sitting together in the garden, the key's mystery resolved, but a new sense of continuity settling over them.
