Chapter 6
The Unnatural Squall
As they navigate the treacherous waters near the western isles, the sky turns a bruised, unnatural purple. A storm, unlike any they have ever witnessed, descends with unimaginable fury. Winds shriek like banshees, waves rise like mountains, and the 'Sea Serpent's Kiss' is tossed about like a child's toy. The ship groans and splinters. In the chaos, Maeve is torn from Finn and Liam, the churning sea swallowing them apart. The crew is scattered, the ship broken, and the O'Malleys are plunged into a terrifying isolation, the storm a voracious entity intent on their destruction.

The alchemist’s words, cryptic and laced with an unsettling certainty, echoed in her mind. *“The winds themselves shall test your resolve, O’Malley. A squall born of ancient wrath will seek to scatter your kin, to drown your ambition in the depths.”* She had dismissed it as fanciful prophecy, the ramblings of a madman eager to sow discord. Now, the sky seemed to conspire with his pronouncements.
