Chapter 9

Chapter 9: Embers in the Ashes

Bruce and Harry, battered but alive, escape the ruined factory through a railway service tunnel. As they try to find safety, they realize Ringmaster Scar and the animatronic threat have not been destroyed. Haunted by what they saw and burdened by guilt, they seek refuge at Mabel's Diner, only to find the world outside subtly changed—strange power surges, flickers of red light, and other signs suggest the animatronics’ influence is expanding. Bruce and Harry debate their next move, torn between fleeing and confronting the spreading menace. The chapter ends with them witnessing a chilling sign that the threat is following them, setting the stage for the story’s next phase.
