Chapter 10
The Rising Moon
Greg and his friends defend the garden as the full moon rises. The shadow attacks, but the red flower bursts from the ground, pushing back the darkness. The Keeper retreats, but a new crack appears beneath the garden, hinting at a deeper threat.

Squeaky returned with an armful of glowing mushrooms. “I found these near the old oak. They’re still bright!” He placed them in a circle around the daisy. Their soft blue light joined the golden glow, pushing the shadow back a few inches.
