Dust motes danced in the slivers of moonlight that pierced the cracked dome, illuminating the spectral outlines of forgotten machinery. Cyenrhi shivered, though the night was not particularly cold. It was the chill of recognition that ran through her, a prickling awareness that they were finally here, at the precipice of the answer they had been so desperately seeking.

"This is it," Loreanzce whispered, his voice barely disturbing the silence. He clutched his worn sketchbook tighter, his knuckles white. "The place from the dreams."

Jhrean stood beside Cyenrhi, a silent sentinel. His gaze swept over the decaying grandeur of the observatory, a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes.
