The air in the abandoned observatory hung thick with the dust of forgotten constellations and the unspoken anxieties of four young souls. Moonlight, fractured by the grimy panes, painted shifting patterns on the decaying floorboards, illuminating the space like a stage set for a play with an uncertain ending. Cyenrhi traced the condensation on the glass, her breath misting it into a temporary, ghostly shroud. Beside her, Jhrean leaned against a defunct telescope, his silhouette a study in shadows and moonlight. Roxzie, ever practical, tapped a rhythm on her knee, her gaze sweeping the room as if searching for escape routes. Loreanzce, as always, was silent, his sketchbook open, his pencil a restless whisper against the paper.

"It all feels so… real now," Cyenrhi murmured, her voice barely a breath against the vast stillness. The shared dream, the one that had begun as a flicker of unease, had intensified, coalescing into a tapestry of fragmented images and chilling sensations that clung to them like a second skin. It wasn't just a dream anymore; it was a premonition, a ghost of what might be, or what could have been.

Jhean pushed off the telescope, his movements fluid, almost predatory. "Real is a matter of perspective, Cyenrhi. The mind can conjure worlds. The question is, which ones do we choose to inhabit?" His words, as always, were a carefully spun enigma, a dance between comfort and provocation. He reached out, his fingers brushing against hers as he adjusted a loose strand of hair that had escaped her braid. The touch, electric and fleeting, sent a tremor through her.
