The ‘Ocean’s Embrace’ turbine, a marvel of engineering and a testament to a dream, stood sentinel, its elegant, bio-mimicking blades slowly, rhythmically turning with the gentle swell.
This wasn't just a test run; it was the grand unveiling. The designated testing site, a protected cove known for its vibrant marine ecosystem, had been carefully chosen. Anya had spent weeks with marine biologists, ensuring every aspect of the turbine’s design, from the flow-through channels to the sonic deterrents, was not just safe, but genuinely beneficial to the aquatic life it was designed to coexist with.
