Chapter 5
Cosmic Reckoning
Liam confronts his past demons, inspired by Elara's fight. Together, they defend the greenhouse during the alignment. The shared danger and vulnerability forge a powerful, undeniable bond between them.

She’d seen the way his jaw tightened when she’d mentioned Silas Thorne’s imminent arrival, the fear that his own reputation might be tarnished by association with Agnes Vance’s ‘eccentricities.’
“They’re… alive,” Liam murmured, his voice barely disturbing the hushed reverence of the greenhouse. “More than just alive. They feel… expectant.”
