"No more wet beds!" Mom declared, her voice as bright and cheerful as a sunny morning, even though it was definitely evening. Dad nodded, his eyebrows doing a little dance above his sparkly eyes. "Operation Dry Nights is a go, Captain Leo!" he boomed, giving me a wink that made me feel like I was about to embark on a super-secret mission.

I puffed out my chest, trying to look as brave and determined as a superhero. "I'm ready!" I announced, though a little fluttery feeling tickled my tummy. My bed *was* a swamp, and my pajamas *were* like soggy noodles, but maybe, just maybe, my parents had found a way to dry it all up.

Mom sat on the edge of my bed, which, I had to admit, was still feeling a bit… damp. She patted the spot next to her. "We know you've been trying your best, Leo," she said softly, her voice like a warm hug. "And we're going to help you."

Dad, who had been doing a funny little jig in the doorway, suddenly stopped. He held up a small, shimmering bottle. It was dark blue, like the night sky, and it had tiny, sparkly stars swirling inside. It looked like a tiny galaxy captured just for me. "And this," Dad announced with a flourish, "is your secret weapon!"

My eyes widened. "A secret weapon?" I whispered, leaning closer. It smelled faintly sweet, like flowers and something bubbly.

"It's a special potion," Mom explained, taking the bottle from Dad. "It’s going to help you wake up when your body needs to go to the potty."

A potion! Like in fairy tales! I imagined myself with a knight's sword, battling the dreaded Bedwetting Beast, armed with this magical liquid. But then, a tiny worry wormed its way into my brain. "What if it tastes yucky?" I asked, picturing myself gagging on something that looked like green slime.

Dad chuckled, a deep, rumbling sound. "Yucky? My dear Leo, this potion is so much fun, it’s practically a party in a bottle!" He winked again. "It might even surprise you."

Mom unscrewed the cap. A tiny puff of fragrant air escaped, smelling even sweeter now, like very fizzy lemonade. "Here," she said, holding the bottle out to me. "Just a few sips before you go to sleep. It's very important to drink it all."

I took the bottle, my hands trembling just a little. It felt cool and smooth. I looked at my parents. Mom was smiling encouragingly, her eyes full of love. Dad was giving me a thumbs-up, his goofy grin making me feel a little braver. They believed in me. They believed in this potion. And if they believed, then I had to try.

I tilted the bottle to my lips. It wasn't thick and gloopy like I'd feared. It was thin and cool, and as it touched my tongue, a tingle spread through my mouth. It was… bubbly! And it tasted… amazing! Like the best, most fizzy lemonade I had ever imagined! I took a big gulp, then another, and another, until the whole bottle was empty. A happy fizz seemed to dance all the way down to my toes.

"Wow!" I exclaimed, handing the empty bottle back to Mom. "That was! It tasted like… like a fizzy rainbow!"

Dad clapped his hands together. "See? I told you! A party in a bottle!"

Mom took the bottle and gave me a gentle smile. "Now, remember, Leo. This potion will help you wake up. So, if you feel like you need to go potty, you need to get out of bed right away, okay?"

I nodded, my head buzzing with the fizzy remnants of the potion. "I will! I promise!" I imagined myself leaping out of bed like a superhero, on a mission to the bathroom.

"That's my brave boy," Mom said, giving me a squeeze.

"Operation Dry Nights is officially underway!" Dad declared, doing a little salute. "And Captain Leo is at the helm!"

As Mom tucked me into my (still slightly swampy) bed, I felt a strange mix of excitement and nervousness. The potion was making me feel all warm and bubbly inside. What if it worked? What if I actually stayed dry all night? The thought was almost too wonderful to believe. But my parents believed, and they had given me this magical potion. They were counting on me. And I was going to try my very, very best. I closed my eyes, the taste of fizzy lemonade still lingering on my tongue, and imagined my bed not as a swamp, but as a cozy, dry cloud. As I drifted off to sleep, I felt a little bit like a secret agent, with a very important mission to complete.
