The Silver Light
Elara, Luca, and Sofia cross the valley toward the far mountain, following a silver light. They discover a hidden cave where a solitary figure named Kael tends a silver flame. Kael reveals he is the fourth spark, and the fire must unite before the Vatican's forces arrive. Brother Thomas and armed men appear at the valley's edge, forcing the group to flee into the mountain's depths, where a mysterious voice speaks from the silver light.
The morning sun climbed higher, casting long shadows across the valley. Elara clutched the New Bible close, its golden glow steady against her chest. Beside her, Luca carried the leather-bound scroll from the chapel, and Sofia walked with quiet determination, her eyes fixed on the distant mountain. The silver light flickered on its slope like a star that had fallen to earth and decided to stay.
“It’s not moving,” Luca said, squinting. “It’s just… waiting.”
“Maybe it’s a signal,” Sofia suggested. “A beacon for us to find.”
