It was a sound he’d dreamed of, a sound he’d worked for, and yet, with every sold-out concert, every sea of flashing lights, a tiny flicker of disbelief still danced in his chest. He stood center stage, bathed in the warm glow of the spotlights, his heart thrumming a rhythm that matched the thunderous applause. This was Chapter Six: Fanfare and Friendship.
