Chapter 10: New Light

David, Dr. Reed, and Maria regroup at the community center after a difficult night. They quietly reconnect, clean up, and review the needs left in the wake of the overdoses. The pace is calm, marked by gentle action and open conversation. Maria suggests a small project to help those still struggling, and together they prepare care packages.
