Chapter One Maya woke up one morning by the sound of her phone. When she looked at the phone to check the notification, the notification said “Delete one person.” And the face of the person that popped up was her boyfriend. Her boyfriend used to be a tall, fair and handsome guy who had been showing love and care to her while they were in school. But after they graduated from school, he had been so cruel to her. Always trying to dictate for her, control her, and forcing her to do what she had never dreamt of doing. The last time they talked to each other was like two months ago when he asked Maya to send him her nude pictures. Since she didn’t allow them to have sex before marriage or else they are going to end up breaking up — and if she truly loved him after their five years of dating — Maya tried to make excuses in order to divert the topic. But when the pressure became too much, she stopped talking to him. And since her boyfriend didn’t see any positive response, he gave up talking to her as well. And now that the notification came to her to delete someone, she said to the phone, “What will happen if I delete this person?” Then the notification came again saying, “You will forget all about the person. Both the good and bad that he or she had done to you.” “So you mean all the good memories also? Can’t we find a way to remove the bad memory alone?” she said. A message popped up on her phone. It said: “NO. That is impossible. And you have less than 10 minutes to decide.”
